Stress Free Tuition Tuition is figured for the entire year and collected in equal monthly installments so you can budget monthly for your family. There are three options for monthly tuition payments at Center Stage. Once you are set up before your classes begin, there's nothing to do each month. You are ready to go for the year.
The first option, Center Stage will automatically debit your checking/savings account automatically on the 15th of each month.
The second option, if you decide to pay for the entire year in one payment.
Your third option, you may also write checks for your monthly tuition at the beginnning of the year for each month for the year. Writing a check for August 15th, September 15th, October 15th and so on through June 15th. Your checks will be put in your child's file and pulled out on the 15th of each month accordingly. Once your account is setup, you are ready for the entire year - - - stress free.
Experienced Staff Members All staff members have either college degrees, professional dance experience, or college dance team experience. Staff members are each bringing something from their own professional dance experience to share with the dancers at Center Stage. A number of our staff members have been instructing for 10-20+ years. In addition to a professional instructor, our classes also provide a dance assistant to help in the classroom studio setting.
Two Recitals Dancers are provided two opportunities to perform on the stage each season: December Holiday Show June End Of The Year Recital
Recital Costumes Recital costumes usually run around $80 with sometimes being less than $80 and occasionally running slightly over $80. Preschool, kindergarten, and first grade dancers will do one number in December in their costume. In June, preschool, kindergarten, and first grade dancers will do two dances in their one costume. Tights and all accessories are always included in the cost of our costumes. Our goal is to provide a great show, beautiful costumes, and maintaining a family friendly budget!
Recital Fee In December, for our holiday show, there is no recital fee. Parents receive two FREE tickets to the show. In June, for our end of the year show, the recital fee is $45. (Second child is $35 and third child is $30.) For your $45 recital fee you will receive: 2 parent tickets Trophy Private link to watch the show on YouTube following the event
Dancers Perform Independently For both of our shows in December and June, all dancers perform on the stage independently. No staff members or assistants will be dancing in front of your dancer on the stage. Enjoy seeing what your dancer has mastered during classes.
Preschool Dancers The preschool program is developed especially with the preschool age dancer in mind. During our preschool classes, dancers learn to develop independence. Ballet shoes do not have ties around the top and are easy to slip on and provide comfort to tiny dance feet. Preschool classes are 60 minutes with one instructor and dance assistant. Dancers remain in one of our teaching studios providing a space to learn and practice uninterrupted. Parents may wait in our lobby during classes or may leave the studio. Parents are invited into the learning space to observe, when there's a special day provided to observe your child's progress. Preschool dancers perform independently onstage in December and June with no teachers or assistants on the stage. Once preschool dancers have finished their numbers on stage during recitals, they are allowed to go out into the audience and watch the remainder of the show with their parents. Preschool dancers are only backstage about 45 minutes for recitals which is shorter than their weekly class times.
Recital Costume Changes Parents watch recitals from the audience and do not have to get up and assist their dancer change costumes. No costume changes take place during our December holiday show so parents can sit and watch the show from the audience. Occasionally second grade and up may need to change costumes depending on the classes they are participating in. If dancers need to change costumes, we will have staff and assistants available to help if a dancer needs an extra hand. This is a great skill builder and dancers gain so much independence. Parents may sit in the audience and enjoy the show!
